We all know the stats about online real estate marketing. Eighty-five percent of real estate leads come from the web, and more than half of those come from mobile. So obviously you need to have a high-Google-ranking presence online. But what does that mean, and how do you get it?
If you’re not an expert, this part can seem daunting. That’s why TREM Group and other firms like ours exist in the first place: We deliver greater value than the cost of our service to our clients. Ask yourself: As a real estate agent, are you doing the same for your clients? The best businesses offer value, and providing that value starts in the marketing itself. Sales is about pressure; marketing is about value. Here’s how you can provide value:
Present yourself as a resource: You should start from the foundation of a highly intuitive, functional and feature-rich real estate website. It should be mobile friendly, it should have integrated IDX and it should have blog and social media integration — the basic tools for boosting your brand above the fray of your competition.
Develop a marketing strategy: Here’s where you find your niche and map out your editorial direction. Sounds like a magazine, doesn’t it? Well, congratulations, we’re all in the publishing business these days. Don’t start pumping out material that’s just like the next Realtor. You need to be unique in your content and your voice to develop a loyal following of buyers and sellers.
Start creating content: You need to be a constant presence, and you need to be on all the channels. Facebook, Twitter and Instagram aren’t enough; there are services online that can help you reach every social channel and juice up your SEO and social interactions. Publish at least three blog posts per week, and interact with your social audience every day with targeted engagement (which is also a lead-generation strategy in itself). Send a newsletter (remember: relevant info) at least twice a month.
Our experts at TREM Group know this strategy from top to bottom. We’ve done it for clients, and we’ve done it for ourselves. If we can help you, don’t hesitate to call at 305-705-5000.
